Sam and Liz Engagement shoot Final

Here are some of the final images from my last shoot~! This engagement session turned out great. All of the trees in the location made for some beautifully earthy shots which worked well with the colors of their Renaissance clothing. Hope you like!

Sam & Liz Engagement shoot

I was really happy to do this shoot this morning. Sam and Liz are a great couple who are having a Renaissance themed wedding! That sounds like so much fun to me! We shot the engagement photos early this morning at Yorba Linda Regional Park~ fully dressed in Renaissance garments :) They loved the end result and now we are discussing shooting their wedding as well in late April! I'm super excited~! Big thank-you to Sam and Liz for calling me and coming out so early this morning~ They are such a sweet couple and I look forward to working with them again!

Back to the Grind!

So I went from a planned photography slump to an ACTUAL photography slump at the end of 2010. I've been battling between this incessant urge to shoot-more-do-more and this reluctance to get off my butt. But yes, 2011 is a new year and I'm officially back! Finally! I am excited to get back behind the camera for fun and business.
I'm booking shoots for Jan and Feb~ Show me some love! I'm also working on my portfolio website this semester, all hand-done and personally designed! Wish me luck :D

Kendra Photoshoot- sample

Here's a sample from this morning's photoshoot, starring the beautiful Kendra Maple. I must say that she is definitely a model client. Yes, she does look like a model ;) but also she was so on key with her props, wardrobe, and location! I was impressed! She was so excited for the shoot and it turned out excellent!
I cant wait unveil the rest of the photos~ so i'll try to finish them as soon as possible. This is one of the very few shoots I've had lined up for the next few months. I've fallen off the map due to my rigorous schedule, but i'm glad for the opportunity to do this shoot. I hope you like it!

Personal Shoot- De

Please welcome the newest member to the Headshot Society: DeAna Jones! *crowd goes wild* lol. My craziness was showing during this shoot and needless to say there were lots of laughs :D I was able to test out my new backdrops in my studio setup and I was very happy with them! There were 2 more other than the b&w pattern shown, but I'm sure those will show in pictures for a future shoot~ I also applied a whole new take to photo editing , which I learned from my lessons at the Photoshop World Expo.
Over the next 6 months I hope to acquire a new set of equipment and techniques, but I'm laying low till my last semester calms down. I'll do my best to keep posting at least once a week in the meantime! Hasta luego~!

Jerell Family Photoshoot

Hello world~! I haven't been able to post for a few weeks now but here's the review- Last week traveled to Vegas to attend the Photoshop World Convention which was an information overload and was also VERY exhausting! I had a great time tho and hopefully I can attend again next year~! I was fortunate enough to be able to go for free thanks to a generous professor who applied for a scholarship for me and a few other students :) The unfortunate thing is that the expo was during the 2nd week of school so now I'm playing catch-up!
Well, as for the photography, these photos are from the family shoot I did a few weekends ago~ This is Jerell and his family~! We ended up shooting at the Huntington Central Park, which was HUGE and pretty. Though the shoot turned out great, Jerell and I had grandiose plans for a shoot in a Mansion or at a few other locations that didn't work out! haha, oh well at least we tried!
I've got one shoot that I'm working on at the moment, I should have the photos done by tonight. Other than that, because this is my last semester for earning my BFA, I'm cutting down on booking shoots for the next few months. Most of my uploaded photos will be from older unfinished personal shoots :) Well, tata for now~!
