Stephanie and Eligio are my very first couple to book a Wedding package with! Im really excited! This is the first of multiple shoots~ I plan to do one more engagement shoot with them and of course later the wedding. They are a very sweet couple and I'm happy to work with them ;)
Here are just a few of the photos from this set. More to come.
Update: This week I am going to Vegas for the Photoshop Expo~! I also just finished two shoots from this weekend, one family shoot and one headshot studio shoot. I've got a few more shoots on my schedule, but for the most part I will be slowing down on booking for the next few months so I can finish my last semester and finally get my BFA~! :D wish me luck everyone!

Couples Shoot- Shauday & Jonny Finals
Here's some of the bunch! visit Gayle Warfield Photography at Facebook to see more from this shoot~! There are even more on my personal Facebook page for just my friends :) There are a few of my favorites on each page! I had a lot of fun and freedom with the post-editing of this shoot. Like I said in a post before, I decided to play in Photoshop this time around. It took way more time, but there was a higher level of control with Photoshop's layers. I've been doing a lot of soul-searching for my personal favorite way to edit photos, so with this shoot I tried a little of everything~ These are some of my more 'tinted' shots.
Anyway, I started school this week, so come late September I may cut down on shooting so I can finish this last semester successfully. Coming up within these next few weeks I'll be pretty busy though. I still have the photos from the engagement session I did a few weeks ago to work on, and I have two more shoots this weekend. After that I'll be heading off to the Photoshop Expo in Vegas~! I really look forward to these next few weeks of chaos before I cool everything down!

Shauday & Jonny Sample
Just giving you a little taste of the Shauday and Jonny shoot. Because I know my friends are flexible and artistic-minded, I've decided to play in Photoshop with these photos instead of fully in Aperture. It's been a while since I've spent quality time in PSD. Sure Aperture is a quicker way to sort/adjust/slide/colorize/etc. the masses and masses of photos that result from a day of photoshoot-fun. But, the layers option in Photoshop extends the realm of possibilities beyond that of my average photo-processing adventure. I think I'll play a little back and fourth between the two programs till I find my happy medium.

Working with Shauday & Jonny
Let me introduce you to my little friends :) This here is Jonny & Shauday. The photo says it all. They are a wonderful couple in a long... long... looooong relationship. We took an adventure to the Torrance area to shoot during the day and evening this past Saturday~ I'll be working on this set of photos as well as another shoot throughout this week and as they come along I'll introduce them to the world!

Portraits by Thatonephotogirl
Just uploading some older photos again~ This was a set of photos I did for an individual studio shoot. I haven't done studio photography in a while (since lost my studio space for a year) but in the mean time I've fallen in love with outdoor photography! A lot of the knowledge I've acquired from my time doing outdoor photography can very well apply to when I decide to start booking studio shoots again. (Which may very well start at the end of this month). Anyways. Hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them :D

MeekFun01
I played with editing this set of photos (the MEEKfun photos) but I was too busy (aka lazy) to get them the way I wanted. This one in more like it. I've realized that I am more of a vibrant-color, contrasted-value kinda photogirl. Sometimes I can want to dabble in the band-wagon fun of faux-vintage touch, but for the most part I find it dull and overplayed. (Unless it works. And when it works it works.... but for the most part it doesnt. ya get me?) ANYWAYS here's an altered version of a photo I etited a while back. More to come hopefully. muah.

Workin on that Disco Fever
Continuously working on the photos from Liz's 21st B-day (disco-themed) party that I was hired for. They had a booth all set up for me there n ready to take everyone's photos. Ill put up my faves next week when I'm done! After that, I'll have a week off before anymore scheduled shoots so I hope to fit in some r&r as well as some personal knowledge advancement in that time. As for now, IM OUT!
